· How can I check my DSL speed?

Go to http://www.osogrande.com/bigfile.html and click one of the downloadable files. Note the speed listed while downloading, listed in Kilobytes per second. Multiply this number by 8 to get your speed in Kilobits per second (Kbps).

· What kinds of DSL do you offer?

We offer ADSL with Qwest, which normally comes in two flavors. The slower speed DSL is 256Kbps - the higher is "Up To 1.5 Mbps."

We also offer various flavors of DSL through New Edge - which has a broader reach than Qwest. In some cases New Edge can offer faster speeds than standard Qwest DSL. New Edge DSL ranges from IDSL at 144 Kbps all the way up to SDSL at 1.5 Mbps.

· Do I qualify for DSL?

To learn about all of your options, contact one of our sales reps at 343-7639 in Albuquerque, or 1 888-783-2331 outside of Albuquerque. There are many versions of DSL available and speaking to our sales person will allow them to find what best suits you.

If you would like check online to see whether you qualify for Qwest DSL - try www.qwest.net and enter your phone number. Select Oso Grande for ISP.

If you don't qualify for Qwest DSL - call us for other options.

· How many email addresses come with my DSL account?

It depends on the type of DSL you have.

In most cases, there are 5 email addresses included with a DSL account.

With some of the higher speed packages, you may get 10 email addresses.

· How do I setup Port Forwarding on my Speedstream router?

Setting up port maps / port forwarding is a service we provide for a consultation fee. Contact support@osogrande.com for more information.

· How do I setup Routable IPs on my Speedstream router?

We can help you setup your routable IPs over the phone.

We typically will configure the router with your the first usable routable IP in your routable IP class. This service is included with the $30 setup fee for routables. You should be prepared to configure your internal routables at the same time.

· How do I request Routable IPs?

Contact support@osogrande.com or call us. We'll send you the application form, which you then send to iprequest@osogrande.com. There is a $30 setup fee for routables.

· What's the price for DSL service with Oso Grande?

It depends on which DSL service you are eligible for.

If you qualify for Qwest DSL - you can get it as low at $19.95. Prices go up from there and vary according to the type of DSL you qualify for and what you select.
