· How do I find the IP address?

For Windows XP and 2000...

Click Start, then Run. Type "cmd" [no quotes] inside the open field and click OK.
At the command prompt, type "ipconfig" and press Enter.
Your IP address, subnet, and default gateway should be listed in the output.

For Windows 98 & ME,

Use "command" instead of "cmd" and follow the same instructions.
