Click Start. Go up to settings and click on Dial-up Networking

Double click on Make New Connection

3. Type OSOGRANDE for the name the computer is dialing and click Next

4. Enter the dial up phone number and click Next

5. Click Finish

6. You will be back at the dial-up networking window. Right click on the OSOGRANDE icon and left click on Properties.

7. Click on the Networking tab.

8. Make sure that the only boxes checked are Enable Software Compression and TCP/IP. Then click on the TCP/IP Settings… button

9. Click Server Assigned IP Address and Specify name Server Addresses. Enter 129.121.254.1 as the Primary DNS and 129.121.254.2 as the Secondary DNS. Click OK

Click on the Security tab.

11. Enter your username and password. Make sure all other fields and boxes are blank. UNM and PNM users need to enter the full email address in the username field. Usernames and passwords are case sensitive. Click OK

12. You will be back at the Dial-up Networking window. Right click on OSOGRANDE and left click on Create shortcut.

13. Click yes to the message about placing a shortcut on the desktop.

14. To connect double click on the shortcut to OSOGRANDE

15. Click Connect. Once connected you can use Internet Explorer or Netscape (or any other browser) to get internet sites and use your email program.
